As of 2009, the developer, Fuller Bros, no longer maintains any of the subdivision entrances. In order to maintain the entrances and the property values, the Spanish Fort Garden Club LLC was registered with the state of Alabama. We are subject to an audit of our books at any time from the State.
Marcia Stewart maintains the books and has coordinated/worked to ensure the entrances since 2009. Randi Evans sends the annual reminder cards. As of 2019, two more residents will join the team and will take over the coordination of the entrances. (More to follow on their names)
Contact us at www.nextdoor.com or Spanish Fort Estates on Facebook. All improvements you have seen in the last several years have been a direct result of our efforts and your maintenance dues.
We maintain both entrances on 225, the islands located Pirates, Signal Hill, Ranger Road and we have done maintenance on some of the cul-de-sacs.
Many people have questions regarding the lights. If you would like a light, you will need to contact Riviera Utilities We encourage you to purchase the black post lights and not the telephone poles. Speak with your neighbors and split the cost. This will reduce crime and vandalism in the neighborhood!!
THIS IS NOT A PROPERTY OWNER'S ASSOCIATION. OUR ONLY PURPOSE IS TO MAINTAIN THE LOOK OF THE COMMON AREAS.
WE DO NOT HAVE COPIES OF THE BYLAWS AND RESTRICTIONS FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IF YOU NEED TO REVIEW THESE, PLEASE CONTACT THE COUNTY.
